LOUIS DACCA - FRED BEVEGNI, SR.
AGRICULTURAL SCHOLARSHIP
Minimum Award $1,000
Number of Awards 1
This agricultural scholarship is established in memory of two best friends, Louis Dacca and Fred Bevegni, Sr., whose Italian families were early farming settlers in the Fife Valley in the early 1900's. Having both graduated from Fife High School in 1932, these two hard working individuals had a rich heritage in farming and agriculture and went on to be successful in their respective businesses, but also community leaders who were unequivocal examples of civility, support for youth, and respect for others. In honor of Louis Dacca and Fred Bevegni, Sr., this scholarship is re-established to acknowledge the rich history of agriculture in the culture and values of the Fife-Milton community and to respect the role and importance of agriculture in our future.
